Dub, upscale, extend or add sound to a video

These four tools each start from a video in your Library and make a new file that lands next to the original, which stays as it was. Open them from Tools, or open a video in your Library and pick one under Tools, where each shows what it costs on that video.

While one works you can close the tool or choose Stop, and get the credits back. If it doesn’t work, your credits come back.

Dub

Makes the same video speak another language, in each speaker’s own voice.

1. Pick a video with people talking, then Next: the languages.
2. Pick up to 5 languages. The most asked for are shown first; the button after them shows the rest.
3. Choose Dub into. Each language comes back as its own video.

Dub is priced for each started minute of video, for each language. Videos can be up to 10 minutes. It takes a few minutes for each minute of video, and each language lands in your Library as it’s ready. To caption a dubbed copy, run Captions on it.

Sound effects

Makes the sound of what’s on screen, for a video that has none. Describe what it should sound like, or leave it empty and Shotz listens to the picture. It replaces any sound the video had. A flat price, for videos up to 30 seconds.

Upscale

Choose how it should come out:

• Sharper: up to 4K, with fine detail put back.
• Smoother: 60 frames a second, so fast moves don’t stutter.

Both are priced by the second of video, and Sharper costs more. The sound stays as it is. Videos can be up to 60 seconds.

Extend

Carries the shot on for five more seconds from its last frame. Say what happens next, or leave it to carry on as it is, and turn Sound on to carry its sound on too. A flat price, for videos up to 60 seconds.
