Keep takes private
Make takes only you can see, and show them to your team when you're ready.
Everything you make goes into the workspace's Library, where everyone in the workspace sees it. When you'd rather try something on your own first, make it private: the takes, their files and the prompt they came from are seen by you alone.
Make a take private
While your words read like a shot, the send button in the card says who will see what it makes. Choose the arrow beside it and pick one:
- Community: posted to the community when it's ready (see Share a take to the community).
- Workspace: your team sees it in the Library. This is the plain arrow.
- Private: only you see it. The button shows a lock, and Private on a computer.
The card remembers your choice in this browser. Private isn't offered in an edit or on a board, since everyone who opens them sees what's made there. Community isn't offered if an owner turned sharing off for the workspace. When the Agent is about to make a private shot, its card says Only you'll see it.
Who sees a private take
Only you. Other members don't see it in the Library, in search, on Home or in Create, and owners don't either. It still uses the workspace's credits and storage, so it counts in Usage like anything else.
A tool you run on a private file, such as Remove background or Upscale, makes a private file too. Private files don't come back from the API, and no one else can share, comment on or use them.
Show it to your team
Open the file in the Library, or the take on Home or in Create, and look under Details: Who sees it says Only you. Choose Show to your team and confirm. It can't be made private again. Owners see that you did it in the audit log.
A private file also becomes the workspace's when you put it where others will see it:
- In an edit or a design. Shotz asks first.
- On a board, or as one of an element's photos.
