The audit log
See who changed people, sharing, spending and settings in your workspace, and what was deleted.
The audit log is a record of changes in your workspace, one plain sentence each, newest first and grouped by day. Only owners can see it. Open Settings → Audit log.
Each line says who did it, what they did and when, with a detail underneath where there is one, such as the role someone was given.
What it records
Use Show to look at one kind at a time.
- People. Invites sent, cancelled and accepted, people added, removed or who left, and changes to someone’s role or monthly credit limit.
- Sharing. Who can open a file, whether people can download it, a file sent by email, people invited to an edit, and review links turned on, changed or off.
- Spending. The workspace’s spending limit, automatic top-ups turned on or off, and credits added or taken back by Shotz support.
- Settings and keys. The workspace’s name and logo, the switches in Settings → General, which models are turned on or off, API keys made or revoked, and downloads of the credit history or of this log.
- Deleted. Files, edits and designs, elements and brands.
Changes made by Shotz support show as Shotz support, with the note they gave.
Download it
Choose Download CSV for the whole log as a spreadsheet, with the date, who, what and the details. Downloading it is recorded too. Choose Show more to see older lines on the page.
Good to know
- Entries can’t be changed or deleted, and stay for as long as the workspace does.
- Names are copied as they were, so a line still reads the same after someone is renamed or removed.
A real person in Melbourne will write back, usually within one business day.
