Invoices, receipts and tax
Where to find invoices and change your card, and how currency and tax work.
Payments for Shotz go through Stripe, which sells Shotz to you as the merchant of record. Stripe shows your currency, works out the tax for where you are, and handles payment questions, fraud and disputes.
Invoices, receipts and your card
Open Settings → Plan and billing and, under Billing, choose Manage next to Payment and invoices. Stripe’s billing page opens, where you can:
- see and download your invoices and receipts
- change the card you pay with
- update your billing email, name, address and tax ID
- change or cancel your plan
Only owners see it, and only once the workspace has paid for a plan or credits.
Currency and tax
In Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the EU, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Japan and Singapore, prices are in your own currency with GST or VAT already in them: what you see is what you pay. In the US and Canada prices are in US dollars, and sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Everywhere else prices are in US dollars, and checkout shows them in your own currency with any tax added. A plan stays in the currency you first paid in. In the iOS and Android apps, the App Store or Google Play sets the price in your currency. Add a tax ID in Stripe’s billing page (Payment and invoices → Manage) if your business needs it on invoices.
Promotion codes
When an offer is running, checkout applies it to monthly plans for you. Otherwise you can type a promotion code in checkout.
Your credit history
Settings → Usage lists every credit in and out under Activity: plan credits, top-ups, what was generated and refunds. Choose Download CSV to save it as a spreadsheet. Owners and editors can download it.

If a payment doesn’t go through, see When a payment fails.
