Buy more credits

Top up any amount from 500 to 100,000 credits, at 1.5 cents a credit.

You can top up any amount from 500 to 100,000 credits, in hundreds, at 1.5 cents a credit plus any tax: 1,000 credits are $15. You can buy them on any plan, Free included. They last 90 days, like every credit, and stay with the workspace if the plan ends. Only an owner can buy them.

Buy credits

  1. Choose Buy credits. It’s under your credits in the sidebar on a paid plan and in the You sheet on a phone. In Settings → Plan and billing it’s at the top right of the page on a desktop, and under how many credits you have left on a phone. All of them open the same window, wherever you are.
  2. Choose 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000. Each row shows its price and about how many videos it makes. For any other amount, choose Another amount, then use − and + or type a number. It's rounded up to the next hundred. The button shows the amount and price. The amount stays where you left it if you open the window again.
  3. Pay in checkout. You come back to Settings, and the credits show once Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a few seconds.

If it says Prices are being updated. Nothing was charged. Try again in a minute., the price was changing as you chose. You haven’t paid anything. Wait a minute and try again.

To change your plan instead, choose More every month? Change plan under the amounts. On Free it opens the plans.

When something needs more than you have

If you generate something, or run a tool such as Remove background, Dub or UGC ad, that costs more than the workspace has left, Shotz says what it needs and offers a way to pay for it. On a paid plan that’s a top-up big enough to cover it, such as Buy 2,000 credits · $30, or a bigger plan. On Free it’s the plans that cover it, one row each, then Top up to buy credits once without a plan. Choose a row and its credits become a dropdown of the amounts a month it comes in, with the price of each and about how many videos or images it makes. Compare plans under the rows opens the pricing page in a new tab. The line under the button says how you’re billed, with a link to pay monthly or yearly. With Top up chosen, it says instead that the credits last 90 days and are shared with your workspace. Once you’ve paid, what you were making starts on its own.

If you’re not an owner, it tells you to ask one.

Which credits go first

The credits closest to expiring are spent first, whether they came from your plan or a top-up. See How credits work.

To have top-ups bought for you when credits run low, see Automatic top-ups and low-credit reminders.
