20% off your first month

Change or cancel your plan

Upgrades start straight away; downgrades and cancellations at the end of the period.

Open Settings → Plan and billing and choose Change plan next to your plan. Only an owner of the workspace can change its plan, and only owners see this page.

A window opens with shots from the models a plan opens, then a row for Starter, Pro and Team (yours is marked Your plan). Each row shows its credits and its price by the month. Choose a row to pick it: it turns white, and its credits become a dropdown of the amounts a month it comes in, each with its price and about how many videos or images it makes. Under the rows, Compare plans opens the pricing page in a new tab, with storage, people and features, so this window stays as it is. The button under that says what happens, and a line under it says how you’re billed.

Getting a plan

On Free, Change plan opens the plans with their prices, billed yearly to start. Pick a plan and how many credits a month, then choose Get Starter, Get Pro or Get Team. Checkout opens; once you’ve paid you come back to Settings and the plan’s credits are added. They can take a moment to show.

If checkout says Prices are being updated. Nothing was charged. Try again in a minute., the prices were changing as you chose. You haven’t paid anything. Wait a minute and choose the plan again.

Upgrading

Pick a bigger plan and choose Upgrade to and the plan. Stripe shows what you’ll pay and you confirm there. The upgrade starts straight away: you pay the difference for the rest of the period, and the extra credits for the new plan are added at once, in the same proportion. Going from Starter with 1,000 credits a month to Pro with 3,000, for example, adds 2,000 credits at the start of a period and 1,000 with half of it left. From the next month you get the full amount.

On a yearly plan you pay for the rest of the year, but credits still come a month at a time, so the extra credits cover the rest of the current month only. The new plan’s full amount arrives from your next monthly refill.

To stay on your plan and take more credits a month, pick your own plan, a bigger amount, and choose Get more credits. It works the same way.

If it says Prices are being updated. Nothing was charged. Try again in a minute., the change didn’t go through and you haven’t paid anything. Wait a minute and choose it again.

Downgrading

On a smaller plan, or a smaller amount of credits on your own plan, the button says Switch on and the day your plan renews (Switch at renewal when there’s no date to show). You keep the current plan and its credits until then, and the smaller one starts.

Cancelling

With your own plan picked, the button says Keep and the plan. Under it, choose Or move to Free when this period ends, and cancel in Stripe’s billing page. The plan stays until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and Settings shows the day it ends. Then the workspace moves to Free: plan credits end with the plan, and top-up credits stay until they expire.

Monthly or yearly

Under the button, a line says how you’re billed: Billed monthly. or, for example, $324 billed yearly, 2 months free. Use the link after it, Pay yearly or Pay monthly, to switch. Every plan is priced by the month, yearly ones too, and a yearly plan shows what the year comes to in whole dollars a month, so a year never costs more than ten months’ price. Credits still arrive monthly. If you pay monthly, the window opens on monthly; if you pay yearly, on yearly. To move your current plan to the other billing, pick it and use that link. Going yearly, the button says Switch to yearly and starts now, less what’s left of the month you’ve paid for, and the plan’s credits for a whole month are added straight away. Going monthly, it says Switch on and the date, and starts when the year ends.
