Change your email, password or Google sign-in

Open Account and look under Signing in. On a computer, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar; on a phone, tap your picture at the top left, then Account.

An email code always works, whatever else you set up here. See Sign in or create an account.

Change your email

1. Choose Change next to Email and type the new address.
2. Shotz sends a link to the new address and another to your current one. Open both.

The change is done once both links are opened. Until then you sign in with your current email, and Account shows the change as waiting.

Set or change a password

A password is optional: it lets you sign in without waiting for a code.

1. Choose Set or change next to Password.
2. Type the new password under New password, then again under Type it again. It needs at least 8 characters and at most 72.
3. Choose Save password.

Forgotten it? On the sign-in page choose Forgot password? and Shotz emails you a link to set a new one. The link works once, for an hour.

Connect or disconnect Google

• Connect next to Google takes you to Google to pick an account, then brings you back here. After that you can use Continue with Google on the sign-in page.
• Disconnect removes it. You then sign in with an email code or your password.

If you signed up with Google and have no other way in, Google stays connected and Disconnect doesn’t show.

A Google account can only be connected to one Shotz account. If it’s already connected to another one, disconnect it there first.
