The endless library

Inge, a Norwegian woman in her 40s with albinism who is a fisherwoman: very pale skin, white-blonde eyebrows and lashes, white hair in a thick braid, pale blue eyes, weathered wind-burnt cheeks, strong hands, wearing a bright yellow oilskin fishing jacket and bib trousers, a chunky cream wool jumper underneath. Standing frozen in the aisle of a library whose shelves run on for miles, books sliding off the shelves on their own, realising she is lost.
