Odette, a fat, plus-size Black woman in her 50s, full-figured with a large soft body, round face and double chin, who is a cabaret singer: deep brown skin, a sculpted silver finger-wave bob, bold red lipstick, statement emerald earrings, wearing a floor-length emerald green satin gown with an enormous flowing train. Singing with her eyes closed on a small round stage floating on a stormy sea at dusk, her emerald train flowing off the stage and becoming the green waves around her, lightning behind.
