Kofi's fitting

Kofi, a Ghanaian man in his late 30s who is a tailor: very dark skin, tall and lean, a sculpted high-top fade with a gold afro comb tucked in it, neat short beard, gold-rimmed round glasses, wearing a sharply cut double-breasted suit in a loud orange, green and gold kente-inspired woven print with a matching pocket square. In his tailor's shop, measuring tape round his neck, he flicks a bolt of kente cloth into the air; the pan whips across to a giraffe standing patiently in the fitting room in a half-finished suit.
