Odette's train

Odette, a fat, plus-size Black woman in her 50s, full-figured with a large soft body, round face and double chin, who is a cabaret singer: deep brown skin, a sculpted silver finger-wave bob, bold red lipstick, statement emerald earrings, wearing a floor-length emerald green satin gown with an enormous flowing train. Standing on a black rock at the edge of the sea at dusk singing with her eyes closed, the emerald train of her gown flowing out behind her and turning into the waves of the ocean, the satin becoming water seamlessly, moody sky. Odette belts a high note and her emerald train surges out behind her and becomes a huge rolling wave that crashes against the rocks in a burst of spray; the camera flies in fast from out over the sea, skims the breaking wave and arcs up around her as her gown whips in the wind.
