Outrunning the twister

A cherry red 1970s convertible with cream leather seats racing flat out across a mirror-flat flooded salt flat, spray fanning from its wheels, a huge dark tornado tearing across the plain right behind it, lightning in the wall cloud, the car's reflection in the water, nobody visible in the car, low angle. The convertible tears across the salt flat at full speed throwing up sheets of spray, the tornado gains on it ripping up water; the camera races alongside low to the water, swings in front of the car and pulls back fast as it blasts past the lens.
